Mr. Ahmet Çalık is very honoured by representing The Republic of Malta as Honorary Consul in Izmir and also he is the Vice President of Honorary Consul’s Association of Turkey.

Mr. Ahmet Çalık, the leader and senior partner of ÇALIK & ÇALIK was in the academic squad as an assistant who established Izmir 9 Eylül University Law School as one of its founders in 1978 and also attended Izmir 9 Eylül University Maritime Faculty as a lecturer of Maritime Law Lessons for many years. Now, Mr. Barış Çalık is a lecturer of Maritime Law lessons in Izmir Yaşar University and Piri Reis Maritime Association.

We are also member of Turkish Maritime Law Association, Turmepa - Turkish Marine Environment Protection Association, Piri Reis Maritime, Marine Resources, Research, Development and Education Foundation and Aegean Offshore Sailing Club.

Besides the professional career, Mr. Barış Çalık, partner of ÇALIK & ÇALIK is licensed sailor who attends the official and private races and regattas on yacht class.
